Filing Deadlines

The Canadian Human Rights Commission generally requires complaints within 12 months of the incident, and Ontario's HRTO requires applications within 1 year of the incident (or of the last incident, if there was a series of similar incidents). Deadlines vary by province — file as soon as possible.
